The workshop
A small shop, run by the bloke who does the work.
R/T Automotive is family owned. Gareth Shepherd runs the spanners and his wife Sharni looks after the front desk, so the person who books your car in is the same person who tells you what it needs.
The shop sits in the Benn Park trade centre on Ashmont Ave, with two post and four post hoists on the floor. Sedans, wagons, work utes and four wheel drives all go up the same way.
Customers have been writing the same three words for years: honest, reliable, reasonable. One of them has been bringing their car here for over a decade and says they refuse to go anywhere else.

What we do
Servicing and mechanical repairs. That is the whole list.
You bring the car in, it gets looked at properly, and you get told what is actually wrong with it. Customers keep writing that they were never pressured into anything.
Mechanical repairs
The two words on the front of the workshop. Whatever has gone wrong, it gets diagnosed first and repaired second.
Diagnosis and straight advice
Customers keep saying the same thing: it gets explained in plain English, and nothing gets sold that the car does not need.
Cars, utes and four wheel drives
Two post and four post hoists on the floor, so a tray ute or a wagon is no different from a sedan.
A hand when you are passing through
Travellers on the road through the Riverina get sorted the same as the regulars. One customer got their motorhome back on the road and kept going.

Best Mechanic in Wagga...hands down! Super nice bloke..Knows what he's talking about which is very clear due to the quality of his work. Honest, reliable and extremely reasonable pricing.
Honestly I'd rate R/T more stars if it would let me. I have been going to Gareth now for over 10 years and refuse to go anywhere else (please don't ever leave Gareth). I highly recommend Gareth, he is honest, reliable and doesn't over price.
This is the best mechanic that I've found in Wagga. Gareth speaks to you in plain English and won't sell you something you dont need. Work is carried out well and his prices are very reasonable. I recommend this guy to anyone looking for a low fuss, but conscientious mechanic.
